We have also collaborated with the FOOD & BEVERAGE Vendors serving the Lagos State Public Schools in the Ikeja/Oshodi/Isolo/Ikoyi Education Districts to advance them between =N50,000 - =N=100,000 to assist in feeding the pupils. We have also extended to some customers from the Mushin/Ijora/Iddo/Oto markets, their performance was worthy of commendation, giving room for expansion whilst taking cognizance of organic growth, until the unprecedented COVID-19 Pandemic struck and disrupted every parameter of the global activities.
Mrs. Osibogun attended Queens’ School, Ibadan between 1969 and 1975, obtained the WAEC and HSC. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 1978, Masters in Banking and Finance in 1988, both from the University of Ibadan.
She completed the professional banking examinations of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) she was inducted as an Associate in 1994. After a decade of professional practices in the banking and finance services industry, she was elected Fellow of the following Institutes- The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB), 2005; The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI), 2013, Nigeria Institute of Management (FNIM), 2013 and became a member of Institute of Directors of Nigeria, (MIoD) in 2015.
She commenced her career in the banking and finance sector, in 1979 with Cooperative Bank Plc (now Skye Bank Plc), occupying several key management positions including General Manager, Cooperative Bank Plc, Managing Director/Chief Executive, Coop Savings and Loans Limited. She was President of the Mortgage Bankers’ Association of Nigeria (MBAN) from 2002-2004; Regional Director, Skye Bank Plc and Managing Director, Skye Bank Trustees Limited, retiring in December 2009.
Mrs Osibogun has attended several management and leadership courses both in Nigeria and abroad including INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France and University of Leicester, London and was appointed in 2001 by the then President Olusegun Obasanjo into the Presidential Committee on Housing and Urban Development, and as member of the Presidential Committee on Mortgage Finance.
She sits on the board of many corporate organizations, including First Bank Holding PLC, Imowo MicroFinance Bank Ltd, and also runs an NGO, Consumer Awareness and Financial Enlightenment lnitiative Ltd. Debola Osibogun is a prolific writer and intellectual.
She is a recipient of several honors and recognitions, including the women’s category of the “Oyo State Most Outstanding Corporate Chieftain’s Award”, 2002; the Honorary Inner Wheel Member Award; 2002 and Award of Excellence by Rotary International District 9110, 2013.
Debola was the 18thPresident/Chairman of Council of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria 2014/2016 and the second woman to be so elected in the 53 years history of the Institute. She was installed with the title "Yeye Otunba Obaloja of Ijebuland" in 2009 by the Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebuland.
Adeola Azeez is a seasoned banker with over 25 years of professional experience. Her effectiveness resides in her level-headedness and her pragmatic approach to creating new systems to face up to the challenges of correspondent banking.
Her determination to see Nigerian businesses capitalize on the burgeoning economic potential to attract foreign investments resulted in increased opportunities for economic development. She is an asset in the world of finance and the real economy as she provides mentorship to empower all those she comes into contact with. Mrs Azeez believes in the powers of reform and reinvention in the public and private sphere.
In 2002, she became one of the founding members of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ). She believes that women in leadership roles and their inclusion in all fields of endeavour is a solution to poverty, unemployment and many social ills.
In 2011 Mrs Azeez was elected as the Chairperson of WIMBIZ. Her personal mantra “keep moving, keep pushing; you only get out of life what you put into it”, is the motivating force behind her successes.
Mrs Azeez has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Lagos and an LLB. in Law from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. Confident, powerful and feminine, Mrs Azeez is what one might call the embodiment of a woman in business. She sits on various boards and is a WIMBIZ trustee.
Ame Ogie is a legal practitioner with over 24 years’ post-call experience. He is the founder and the Managing Partner of AME OGIE & CO, a firm of specialist Solicitors and Barristers whose area of specialization is Admiralty, Maritime Law, Company and Commercial Law based in Lagos State.
He has represented the Federal Government of Nigeria, he also represents various international shipping lines, Protection and Indemnity Associations, Ship Agents and port terminal operators, and he has been very active providing general services to clients in Nigeria and abroad.
He is one of the foremost Surrogacy lawyer in Nigeria, is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Vice Chairman of the Maritime Committee of the Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Her wealth of experience and various assignments at Skye Bank involved and not limited to the supervision of a head office commercial banking team focused on charting a new course for the bank’s new vision of developing a critical mass of small, medium scale enterprises in the Nigerian commercial banking space. Prior to this she was the Senior Business Development Manager at the Ikeja Business District of Skye Bank Plc, a systemically important in the Nigerians banking industry. This endeavor is the culmination of some 21 years in the banking and financial services industry. In her professional experience, she has undertaken functions in marketing financial products and services, managing private and business relationships, credit and financial analysis and funds management.
Her academic pursuit includes the recently completed Masters of Business Administration (Chartered Bankers) from the University of Bangor, leading to her admission as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. Prior to this, she had obtained a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from the Lagos State University, she is also an Alumni of the Lagos Business School (LBS) a Pan Atlantic University - having completed an intensive senior management program.
These endeavors have enabled her to develop core competences in leadership abilities, strong analytical and problem solving skills, supervisory and interpersonal skills, ability to work under intense pressure in a highly competitive and performance-driven environment, negotiation and communication skills, ability to think and act proactively, meet tight deadlines and constantly come up with creative ideas to drive business.
She has very strong interpersonal and human relations skill which she has used as tools for networking with the affluent. These attributes have assisted her to understand and appreciate the psychology of sustaining long lasting and result-oriented relationships.
Being a go-getter and an excellent market-driven individual her strength lies greatly in achieving results. In her quest for service was nominated the Student Representative for the African Continent during her Chartered Banker MBA program in Bangor - Wales and commended for her excellent participation.
